I've been working as a geologist with an environmental consulting firm for about two and a half years. Aside from rocks, which I really dig (no pun intended), I also really like to scuba dive. In fact, I met my computer goob husband in my scuba class a few years ago. He proposed on my birthday, June 29th, and we got married on his birthday, Halloween (also the third anniversary of our first kiss!). It was a costume wedding/reception - lots of fun.

Licky, my sister, works at a shark lab on the island of Bimini in the Bahamas which means very inexpensive dive trips. Unfortunately, I haven't been back in two years.

I've got a black cat named Spooky that I found on a business trip to Dahlonega, Georgia. I'm not too good with living things (plants and animals, namely). I plan on posting a couple of pictures of Spooky in the near future. I'm not that great at photography so it may be a while on the photos.
